Adam McKay is an American filmmaker and comedian. He is married to Shira Piven with whom he has two daughters named Lili Rose and Pearl. He is also a graduate of Great Valley High School and Temple University
He had his career start as a co-writer on comedic films such as Anchorman, The Other Guys, and Talladega Nights. Later, Ferrell and McKay co-wrote and co-produced their comedy website Funny or Die. Some of his other films include Succession, Motherland: Fort Salem, and No Activity.
Most noteworthy, Adam worked as a head writer for Saturday Night Live (SNL) sketch comedy show. It is also known that he is a co-founder of the Upright Citizens Brigade and the founder of the Upright Citizens Brigade.
Likewise, McKay is a former performer at Chicago’s ImprovOlympic and was featured in The Family. He then directed and co-wrote the George W. Bush Broadway musical You’re Welcome America. He also worked on the biographical black comedy Backseat.
